For Mutual this Wednesday, i am in charge so i decided to make some braceletes. Way easy to make by the way!!!:) Materials needed:
~Old magazines or scrapbook paper
~Scissors
~Modge Podge
~Little paint brush
~ String
~Stick (perferably a shishkabob stick)
~Stick (perferably a shishkabob stick)
~Wax Paper
Step One: Cut your paper into long strips that are narrower at one end.
Step Two: Take the stick and loosely start to wrap the paper onto it as you get close to the end of the strip, about and inch from the end. Glue the inside of it then finish wrapping it.
Step Three: Gently slide it off of the stick and apply Modge Podge all over the outer edge of your bead. Lay it on the wax paper and occasionally roll around to make sure it does not stick to the paper.
Step Four: Once you have completed about 12 to 15 beads (depending on the size of your wrist) take some elastic string and thread each bead on. Tie a square knot, superglue it. And you have completed your very own Paper Bead Bracelet.
